Each signing appointment, on average, takes about 1-2 hours to complete, and as a Signing Agent you can get paid, on average, anywhere from $75 to $175 per assignment or more! And most signing agents can easily complete 3 or more signings a day! Exactly how much you will get paid per signing is mainly determined by your skill and training, but my goal as a mentor is to get you to that $175 or more level!!
To become a signing agent you will need to be a commissioned notary public in your state, and you will need signing agent training - that's where I come in! All of the printable materials and training videos are located and viewed in a private Facebook Group. A Facebook account is required to access the video modules. There is no other option for viewing the Signing Agent Advanced Training module videos.
All of the training materials is hosted in a private Facebook group, as long as you have not requested access to the Facebook group you can get a FULL REFUND! No! You do not have to wait until you are a commissioned notary to start the Signing Agent Advanced Training Program! You will just need to have your notary commission before you will be able to accept any actual loan signing appointments.
The NNA Signing Agent Certification Exam and Background Screening ARE NOT REQUIRED BY LAW in any state!
However, while there is no legal requirement, many companies will require that you take and pass the NNA Signing Certification Exam and pass the NNA Background Screening before they will send you signing agent business.
I suggest waiting to take the NNA Signing Agent Certification Exam until you have gotten your Signing Agent Advanced Training and are ready to actually start doing signings! The NNA Signing Agent Certification is only good for 1 year, if you take it now but you aren't trained and ready to go for another 1 or 2 months you basically "lose" that time on your certification.
I do assist my students with passing the Exam on the first try in my Signing Agent Advanced Training Program! Most Signing Agent Advanced students pass the NNA Signing Agent Certification Exam on the first try!
It is often still possible to be a successful signing agent in an attorney state! You will need to double check the laws and requirements in your state, however the first way is by doing signings for people who live in your state BUT the property that the transaction is for is outside of your state. If the property is in an escrow state then an attorney is usually not needed to complete the transaction.
Also, even if you are in an attorney state it may be possible for the attorney to conduct the signing by phone from another location while the signing agent is at the location with the signer physically notarizing the documents. (For example, the signer doesn't want to go to the attorney office so they physical signing takes place in their home while the attorney is in their office).
While there may not be as much work in attorney states as there is in escrow states it is still possible to be a very successful signing agent in an attorney state!
Ongoing one on one private mentoring is currently not offered. However many people have found that the online training program gives them all of the information and training they need to confidently get started as a signing agent! The Elite level includes a One on One Zoom coaching session that you can schedule for a day and time that is convenient for you! And both the Exclusive and Elite training packages have ongoing access to monthly group Zoom Q&A sessions, help and mentoring in the Facebook group and via email that never expires!

The cost for the Signing Agent Training Program does not include the cost for any fees your state may charge you to become a commissioned notary and it also does not include the cost for the NNA Signing Agent Certification Exam. However, most Signing Agent Advanced students are able to purchase the least expensive signing agent certification package from the NNA instead of one of their higher priced packages, saving you money and providing you with better training!
While the Signing Agent Advanced Training Program will teach you the basics of notary law and the basics of completing the notarial certificates that you will see in a loan package, this is NOT notary public training. Notary law is different in every state, so you will need to research the specific notary law in your state to make sure that you are compliant.
